Wolf Cub Rank
- The Wolf Cub rank is aimed at second graders or those boys
who
are seven years old. To earn the Wolf badge, a boy must pass
twelve achievements
involving simple physical and mental skills. Once the Wolf badge is
earned,
the boys can work toward Arrow Points by working on Electives.
Highlights
of the Wolf Cub Program
-
There are many activities to
explore
as Wolf
Cubs. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship
training,
character development, and personal fitness. The Electives are a chance
for
each boy to explore new skills.
-
Wolf Cubs attend den meetings in
an
exciting
environment led by the leaders of the den. Each meeting has a
theme and the activities revolve around that theme, giving the boys
exposure to many different activities.
-
Wolf Cubs become more involved
in the
Scouting
experience by participating in a wider variety of activities while
still working
on achievements at home with their families. They are learning more
independence
and responsibility with each meeting,
