Pack 643 Leaders:

Each year, Pack 643 may nominate a volunteer for the Indian Prairie District Silver Acorn Award.  New this years is that Pack 643 will be able to nominated two!  Typically, the award is used to recognize a person that has assured our Pack's success through tireless effort and commitment.  The candidate does not have to be a registered leader.  

Recent Pack 643 recipients of the award include Steve Smith, John Elenbaas, Linda Hunt, Dave Gusse, Peggy Fields, Brian Caputo, and Kate Henderson.  Unfortunately, you can not nominate a past winner.  Sorry.

The Pack Committee is asking each of you to submit a candidate for this award for the 2009-10 pack year.  We have many great volunteers in our Pack and this is our chance to provide special recognition of someone's special drive, inspiration and leadership. 

Please submit nominations and a brief statement describing why he/she deserves the award by the March Leader's Meeting.  You may email your nominations to me (tonybarlas@gmail.com) or bring the nomination to the next leaders meeting. 

Once we collected all the nominations, the Pack will vote on how who will receive this award.  See attachment for information and form.  Please DO NOT EMAIL OR MAIL the form to Julie Rypka.

The deadline to submit your Pack nomination is MARCH 31st, 2010.
